The idea for this image came from a conversation I once had with a monk who informed me of the all-conquering and unquestionable nature of God's Will. Now invisible billionaire tyrants dominate our world like gods and, without knowing it, we all meekly conform to their collective Will. Margaret Thatcher dragged the United Kingdom into the Falkland\u2019s War (1982) at a time when most people in the country had never heard of the Falkland Islands and believed the conflict to be pointless (in total, 255 British military personnel, 649 Argentine military personnel and 3 Falkland Islanders died during the conflict). It was a cynical attempt to win popularity and to prop up her fading premiership by contesting a \"winnable\" war. On her lapel is a reversed \u201cno u-turn\u201d road sign, (suggestive of her famous \u201cthe lady\u2019s not for turning\u201d speech and which was actually written by a speech-writer) where the \u201cu\u201c symbolises the high unemployment the country suffered during her premiership. \u201cX\u201d can also mean \u201cyes\u201d as on a voting form at an election, signifying that Thatcher and Hitler were both conforming to God\u2019s Will.
